«Важные истории» обнаружили более 60 приговоров по уголовным делам, которые суды вынесли после 24 февраля воевавшим в Украине российским солдатам, и сочли «участие в специальной военной операции» является смягчающим обстоятельством.
Только в четверти таких приговоров участникам СВО назначали тот же вид наказания, что и большинству осужденных по этим же статьям.
В некоторых случаях смягчающим обстоятельством при назначении наказания военнослужащим оказалась поддержка «специальной военной операции» или желание ехать на фронты СВО, лишь бы избежать реального заключения.
