🔸Ж/д "Термез - Пешавар" идет от Мазари-Шарифа через Айбак, Пули-Хумри и Майданшахр, огибая Кабул, и далее, через провинции Логар и Нангархар, выходит к КПП "Торхам". Длина - 774 км, колея российского образца - 1 520 мм (на пакистанском участке меняется на 1 676 мм). Предусмотрено строительство 1 212 дополнительных объектов (включая 336 мостов и 5 тоннелей), 785 км ЛЭП и 790 км линий связи. Все обойдется в $5,96 млрд и 5 лет, благодаря чему появится возможность перевозить 10 млн тонн грузов в год.
