По требованию Роскомнадзора «Википедия» (принадлежит Wikimedia Foundation, Inc.) удалила в 2023 и 2024 гг только по одному материалу с запрещенным контентом. Всего же служба требовала удалить 201 материал на «Википедии». В 2024 из общего количества требований об удалении материалов с ресурса 129 были связаны с фейками о ходе СВО. Остальные требования касаются экстремистских материалов, информации о вовлечении несовершеннолетних в совершение противоправных действий.
