4 сентября Минский областной суд огласил приговорАндрею Романовичу. Мужчина из Пинского района, ему 35 лет, был задержан в начале мая, признан политзаключенным.
Романовичу поставили в вину то, что 18 марта 2022 года снял на видео беларускую военную технику и отправил в телеграм-группу, признанную "экстремистскими материалами". Это расценили как "содействие экстремистской деятельности", ч.1 ст.361-4 УК РБ. Про это сообщила прокуратура Минской области.
За видео военной техники, выложенное в телеграм-группу, Романовичу присудили 2 года и 6 месяцев колонии.

Telegram has gained a reputation as the “secure” communications app in the post-Soviet states, but whenever you make choices about your digital security, it’s important to start by asking yourself, “What exactly am I securing? And who am I securing it from?” These questions should inform your decisions about whether you are using the right tool or platform for your digital security needs. He floated the idea of restricting the use of Telegram in Ukraine and Russia, a suggestion that was met with fierce opposition from users. Shortly after, Durov backed off the idea. Despite Telegram's origins, its approach to users' security has privacy advocates worried.
