Бывший губернатор Иркутской области, депутат Госдумы и первый секретарь обкома КПРФ Сергей Левченко может выдвинуть свою кандидатуру на выборах главы региона, которые пройдут в сентябре 2025 г.
Об этом «Ведомостям» сказали двое собеседников, близких к администрации президента, и источник в КПРФ. Левченко с 2015 по 2019 г. возглавлял Иркутскую область.
В 2015 г. на выборах он победил действующего главу региона от «Единой России» Сергея Ерощенко во втором туре. Это был первый случай после возвращения прямых губернаторских выборов, когда на них победил не кандидат, на которого сделала ставку власть.
