Японский автопроизводитель на фоне падения продаж и рентабельности еще в ноябре обнародовал план по увольнению 9 тысяч сотрудников по всему миру. Всего в компании работает >133 тысяч человек. Ожидаемые сокращения затронут ~6% персонала. Плюс на 20% будут снижены глобальные производственные мощности.
Конкретно в Штатах на заводе в Теннесси на одной производственной линии останутся 2 рабочие смены, на другой — 1. На заводе в Миссисипи снизят скорость одной линии, на другой же останется 1 смена. Режим работы сменится и на предприятии в Дечерде (Теннесси) — там выпускают двигатели.

He added that as Apple and Google both follow the law, to violate it would give both platforms a reason to boot the messenger from its stores.
