Спонедельника в Советском районе Самары и в селе Майское Пестравского района введен карантин из-за обнаружения там больных животных. Соответствующее постановление подписал губернатор Дмитрий Азаров.
В период карантина в неблагополучных районах запрещено проводить ярмарки, выставки (торги) и другие мероприятия, связанные с перемещением животных, восприимчивых к бешенству, также запрещен вывоз таких животных.
Сейчас проводятся необходимые ветеринарные мероприятия, направленные на предотвращение распространения смертельного вируса. Карантин может быть отменен только через 60 дней после завершения предусмотренных ветеринарными правилами ограничительных мероприятий.
