شاهزاده رضا پهلوی در گفت‌وگویی با تلویزیون بی‌‌بی‌سی گفت: «راه‌حل نهایی تغییر حکومت است و اکنون ما فرصتی پیش رو داریم چون این حکومت در ضعیف‌ترین نقطه خود قرار دارد.» او در بخش دیگری از سخنان خود بر ضرورت همبستگی ملی برای دستیابی به تغییر دموکراتیک و صلح‌آمیز در ایران تأکید کرد و افزود که مردم ایران بیش از هر زمان دیگری خواهان آزادی و عدالت هستند.

شاهزاده رضا پهلوی در گفتگو با تلویزیون فاکس‌نیوز آمریکا در پیامی فارسی خطاب به مردم ایران گفت: از این فرصت که نظام تضعیف شده است باید استفاده کرد. هرچه بیشتر فعال باشید، هرچه بیشتر در خیابان‌ها باشید، ریزش‌ها بیشتر خواهد بود.

The Islamic Republic and its incompetent and criminal leaders have dragged our Iran into war and are responsible for the current situation.

After decades of corruption, incompetence, and oppression, this regime is now at its most fragile and weakest state.

Yet, its ultimate collapse can only be achieved through the powerful hands of the great Iranian nation.

Iran belongs to you, and reclaiming it is in your hands.

Every act of defiance by you, including not showing up to work, working less, or arriving late, can deliver an effective blow to the weakened body of this regime.

Together, side by side, we will prevail.

To the military, police, and security forces, I say: detach yourselves from this regime and join the people.

On your behalf, I say to the international community: instead of appeasing the Islamic regime, support the Iranian people.
