Второй день весны, а я уже снова показываю гравюры про зиму. Но пройти мимо такой нелегко, пришлось искать что тут происходит.
«Сани Ба» из серии «Альбом гравюр пяти различных видов саней»
Автор этой гравюры, художник Кацухира Токуши, известен прежде всего своими пейзажами родной префектуры Акита. Той самой откуда собачки, красавицы и фотографии снежных японских гор.
Перед нами, вот, аж 1938 год. Время, когда автомобили уже давно доминировали на городских улицах, а автобусный транспорт был в порядке вещей, даже на самых богом забытых концах далёких префектур. Но не в Акита. В Акита люди приспособили под общественный транспорт вот такие громадные сани.
Судя по надписи и традиционной иконке, эти едут в горячие источники. То что нужно, для такой погоды.

You may recall that, back when Facebook started changing WhatsApp’s terms of service, a number of news outlets reported on, and even recommended, switching to Telegram. Pavel Durov even said that users should delete WhatsApp “unless you are cool with all of your photos and messages becoming public one day.” But Telegram can’t be described as a more-secure version of WhatsApp. For example, WhatsApp restricted the number of times a user could forward something, and developed automated systems that detect and flag objectionable content. The original Telegram channel has expanded into a web of accounts for different locations, including specific pages made for individual Russian cities. There's also an English-language website, which states it is owned by the people who run the Telegram channels. The perpetrators use various names to carry out the investment scams. They may also impersonate or clone licensed capital market intermediaries by using the names, logos, credentials, websites and other details of the legitimate entities to promote the illegal schemes. Telegram has become more interventionist over time, and has steadily increased its efforts to shut down these accounts. But this has also meant that the company has also engaged with lawmakers more generally, although it maintains that it doesn’t do so willingly. For instance, in September 2021, Telegram reportedly blocked a chat bot in support of (Putin critic) Alexei Navalny during Russia’s most recent parliamentary elections. Pavel Durov was quoted at the time saying that the company was obliged to follow a “legitimate” law of the land. He added that as Apple and Google both follow the law, to violate it would give both platforms a reason to boot the messenger from its stores.
