Эдуард Таран является основателем и президентом «РАТМ-Холдинга». В него входят ООО «Сибирское стекло», АО «Экран-оптические системы», ОАО «НПО «ГИДРОМАШ», АО «Катайский насосный завод» и АО «РИД Групп — Новосибирск». Кроме того, «РАТМ-Холдинг» владеет стадионом «Спартак» в Новосибирске.
