الوزير هيكل شدد على موقع سوريا الاستراتيجي كممر عالمي للكابلات الضوئية ضمن مشروع "سيلك لينك"، مؤكداً تحسن العلاقات الدولية بعد انتصار الثورة وعودة البلاد لمحيطها الطبيعي. كما أوضح خطة الوزارة لتحديث قطاع الاتصالات وتجاوز تداعيات المرحلة السابقة.
