Рекомендую к просмотру фильм «Последний из могикан» (1992).

Моё знакомство с этим произведением произошло ещё в детстве. У нас дома есть книга Джеймса Фенимора Купера в бежевой обложке, с черно-белыми гравюрами. Сюжет я помнил лишь смутно, поэтому решил освежить свои впечатления, посмотрев экранизацию.

Фильм поражает великолепной операторской работой. Пейзажи американского континента переданы невероятно красиво! В основе сюжета лежит переплетение множества линий, в которых раскрываются темы чести, достоинства, долга и самопожертвования. Любовная история в фильме представлена гораздо глубже и эмоциональнее, а быть может я в детстве не очень понимал любовные сцены и намёки на них.

Отдельно стоит отметить саундтрек. Многие, даже не смотревшие фильм, наверняка узнают его знаменитую мелодию — да, именно отсюда она родом! Я сразу узнал, на первых секундах. Саундтрек, кстати, стал культовым.

Если вы ещё не смотрели «Последнего из могикан», настоятельно рекомендую — это классика, которую стоит увидеть.

In 2018, Russia banned Telegram although it reversed the prohibition two years later. At the start of 2018, the company attempted to launch an Initial Coin Offering (ICO) which would enable it to enable payments (and earn the cash that comes from doing so). The initial signals were promising, especially given Telegram’s user base is already fairly crypto-savvy. It raised an initial tranche of cash – worth more than a billion dollars – to help develop the coin before opening sales to the public. Unfortunately, third-party sales of coins bought in those initial fundraising rounds raised the ire of the SEC, which brought the hammer down on the whole operation. In 2020, officials ordered Telegram to pay a fine of $18.5 million and hand back much of the cash that it had raised. At this point, however, Durov had already been working on Telegram with his brother, and further planned a mobile-first social network with an explicit focus on anti-censorship. Later in April, he told TechCrunch that he had left Russia and had “no plans to go back,” saying that the nation was currently “incompatible with internet business at the moment.” He added later that he was looking for a country that matched his libertarian ideals to base his next startup. Channels are not fully encrypted, end-to-end. All communications on a Telegram channel can be seen by anyone on the channel and are also visible to Telegram. Telegram may be asked by a government to hand over the communications from a channel. Telegram has a history of standing up to Russian government requests for data, but how comfortable you are relying on that history to predict future behavior is up to you. Because Telegram has this data, it may also be stolen by hackers or leaked by an internal employee. But Telegram says people want to keep their chat history when they get a new phone, and they like having a data backup that will sync their chats across multiple devices. And that is why they let people choose whether they want their messages to be encrypted or not. When not turned on, though, chats are stored on Telegram's services, which are scattered throughout the world. But it has "disclosed 0 bytes of user data to third parties, including governments," Telegram states on its website.
