We hate to do it but we don't know what else to do. We need to ask for your help, if you can. I started a new job in late April, which made us short on funds and my wife was layed off from her job till the fall.  We had an Angel family step in and help us at that time.
Now we've been out of electric since Monday night, which caused me to lose sleep, which caused me to not be able to go to work and i had to be there to help with trying to salvage food from our fridge, which we did lose half of what was in the fridge and our bills are coming due.
Now the electric company is telling us they are going to turn the electric off again for repairs. We have been in a extreme heatwave. The heat has been nearly unbearable at times. Living in our car to have relief from the heat and a small swimming pool we took water from to flush toilets and wash ourselves.
The electric company gave us two bags of ice and two gallons of water. We had to get ice three times a day for 4 coolers to keep what food we were able to save cold.
We aren't asking for a lot, but if we could raise the amount lost from this week's wages, my wife and I could pay our rent and have food for the next couple of weeks. We are looking to raise $800 at the least $1200 at best. The 12k would put back what I'm losing in pay. The $800 would at least pay our rent.
