Перепись населения Российской империи 1897 года.
В 1897 году была проведена первая и единственная всеобщая перепись населения Российской империи. Она обошлась государству в 7 млн. рублей. Результаты переписи были опубликованы в 89 томах (119 книг).

По результатам переписи крупнейшими городами по населению стали:
1. Санкт-Петербург — 1,3 млн. чел.
2. Москва — 1 млн. чел.
3. Варшава — 683,7 тыс. чел.
4. Одесса — 403,8 тыс. чел.
5. Лодзь — 314 тыс. чел.
6. Рига — 282,9 тыс. чел.
7. Киев — 247,7 тыс. чел.
8. Харьков — 174 тыс. чел.
9. Тифлис (Тбилиси) — 160,6 тыс. чел.
10. Вильна (Вильнюс) — 159,6 тыс. чел.

Всего население Российской империи составило 125,6 млн. чел.
Средний возраст населения — 21,16 года.
В семье в среднем было 5,8 человека.
77,5 % населения — крестьяне, 10,7 % — мещане, казаки и дворяне — по 1,5 %, купцы — 0,2 %.
На момент переписи в городах жило 13 % населения.

Telegram does offer end-to-end encrypted communications through Secret Chats, but this is not the default setting. The post, which has over 600,000 views, also baselessly claimed that the woman's blood was actually makeup or grape juice.
