Европа впервые с 2022 года снизила запасы природного газа в своих подземных хранилищах (ПХГ) до уровня ниже 40% на 25 февраля, следует из данных Gas Infrastructure Europe.
Текущий объем раза в хранилищах на 11,24 п. п. ниже, чем в среднем на 25 февраля за последние 5 лет.
Пока что отбор газа в более 10 раз превышает закачку: 452 млн куб. м. против 43 млн куб. м.
Отопительный сезон в Европе обычно завершается в конце марта - середине апреля. В прошлом году он был закончен 31 марта, тогда ПХГ союза были заполнены на 58,44%, то есть уже на 18 п.п. больше текущего уровня.
Тревожным для Европы остается и прогноз погоды, который обещает новое похолодание на выходных после потепления этой недели.
Сохраняется также в ЕС низкая доля генерации энергии ветра, если в январе она составляла в среднем около 21%, то в феврале – около 13%.
Все эти факторы негативно повлияли на цену газа, которая в среднем в феврале составила $548, что существенно выше декабрьского уровня в $489 за 1 тыс. куб. м.

Apparently upbeat developments in Russia's discussions with Ukraine helped at least temporarily send investors back into risk assets. Russian President Vladimir Putin said during a meeting with his Belarusian counterpart Alexander Lukashenko that there were "certain positive developments" occurring in the talks with Ukraine, according to a transcript of their meeting. Putin added that discussions were happening "almost on a daily basis." And Telegram has been attached to a fair few scandals related to terrorism, sexual exploitation and crime. Back in 2015, Vox described Telegram as “ISIS’ app of choice,” saying that the platform’s real use is the ability to use channels to distribute material to large groups at once. Telegram has acted to remove public channels affiliated with terrorism, but Pavel Durov reiterated that he had no business snooping on private conversations.
