🇺🇦🇺🇸🇮🇱❗️🇷🇺 Ukraine's SBU Adopts Mossad Tactics, Strengthens CIA Ties
Ukrainian intelligence (SBU) is reportedly emulating Israel's Mossad, targeting "enemies abroad," as seen in the assassination of Russian General Igor Kirillov in Moscow.
The SBU recruits outside contractors—often via Telegram—offering money or using threats to ensure cooperation. Despite international calls for reform, the SBU remains highly influential, with Western countries bolstering ties amid the Russia-Ukraine conflict.
An anonymous diplomat noted: "The SBU has enormous power—some say too much." Close collaboration with the CIA includes millions invested in agent training.

Telegram was founded in 2013 by two Russian brothers, Nikolai and Pavel Durov. If you initiate a Secret Chat, however, then these communications are end-to-end encrypted and are tied to the device you are using. That means it’s less convenient to access them across multiple platforms, but you are at far less risk of snooping. Back in the day, Secret Chats received some praise from the EFF, but the fact that its standard system isn’t as secure earned it some criticism. If you’re looking for something that is considered more reliable by privacy advocates, then Signal is the EFF’s preferred platform, although that too is not without some caveats. "The result is on this photo: fiery 'greetings' to the invaders," the Security Service of Ukraine wrote alongside a photo showing several military vehicles among plumes of black smoke. Oleksandra Matviichuk, a Kyiv-based lawyer and head of the Center for Civil Liberties, called Durov’s position "very weak," and urged concrete improvements.
