В настоящее время в Национальном исследовательском ядерном университете «МИФИ» создается линейка приборов радиоизотопного контроля промышленного оборудования для нефтяной промышленности и металлургии. Один из уже созданных приборов заинтересовал корпорацию «Северсталь» и весной будет проходить испытания на Череповецком металлургическом комбинате.
