While traveling the American West, with his girlfriend Nicole, he stopped in a flower-filled field in Colorado, where purple, orange, and red flowers grew as far as the eye could see. Amid the quiet buzz of busy bees, something extraordinary happened.

Joe noticed a bee moving more slowly than the others, clearly tired from the day's work. Covered in pollen, it hovered over a nearby flower, calmed its flight, and then sat down to rest. Joe couldn't believe what he was seeing. Using a macro lens, he delicately captured the scene. A moment later, another bee joined it, curled up on the same flower.

They waited, watching the two bees sleep peacefully, for them to wake up and fly away. "I had no idea bees slept in flowers," he said.

This pure and beautiful glimpse of nature reminds us of the silent, invisible worlds around us." 💛
