An Open Letter to the Daughters and Sons of Africa – A Call to Unity, Action, and Purpose!!

To the proud and powerful daughters and sons of Africa — in every village, city, and corner of the continent, and across the vast reaches of our global diaspora:

Our time has come. And yet, we are not where we ought to be. Not because we lack brilliance, vision, or the means — but because we have not moved as one.

My friend, billionaire investor Sheikh Mohammed Hussein Al-Alsmoudi, alongside other powerful figures such as Aliko Dangote, and numerous wealthy and influential leaders from Ethiopia, Kenya, Nigeria, South Africa, Burkina Faso, and beyond — including academics, professionals, celebrities, civil society organizations, social media voices, and TikTok influencers — have each risen in their own right. But we must ask: have we risen together? Have our successes served the greater African dream? Or have they remained isolated symbols of individual achievement, disconnected from the wider liberation and transformation of our people?

No longer can we afford to let our differences, weaknesses, or misunderstandings divide us.
While the West and the Arab world may see only our color — black — and define us by it with disdain, we must remember who we truly are: the origin of civilization, the cradle of strength, and the heart of humanity.

To the youth of Africa — especially my brothers and sisters of Ethiopia and Eritrea under 40 — you are the beating heart of this movement.
You carry the fire of generations before you. Let us no longer look to Ethiopia only in secret hope.
Let us do so with pride, without shame, and with a voice that shakes the digital world.

Raise your voices across every platform — on TikTok, on Instagram, on X, in every language you speak. Speak for unity. Speak for dignity. Speak for collective victory.

Let’s make us viral.
Let’s make Africa rise — not just through individuals, but through united African nations.
It is our time. Let’s move as one.
