Êostre
This has been my favourite goddess to create to date.
Spring is absolutely my favourite time of year and Êostre obviously embodies it.

I carved her as Spring was blooming around me a few months back and finished her just in time for a rite at the Spring Equinox.

Paganism encourages men to be maximally masculine.

Paganism encourages women to be maximally feminine.

Paganism brings these same men and women together to form strong cohesive families.

Paganism brings these same families together to form strong cohesive communities.

In other words, the division within communities, the breaking apart of the family, the distrust between the sexes and the lack of fulfilling one's potential within are all solved by coming back home.

Together we will Revive & Thrive
That is our destiny
It is through one's actions one is remembered, giving honor or shame to one's name. For what or whom is worthy of remembrance, of any kind, if they do nothing?

Action takes courage. Courage comes from within. If within one's being lay devotion, fuel for both one has.

It is devotion to Gods and Goddesses that forged cultures that inspire us still today. That same devotion, if revived, will do the same again. Let us act this year, and make our Ancestors proud. For you too one day will be an Ancestor, will your name stand out from the crowd?
By reviving the ancient faith and ways that flows in your veins, you protect the future of your family and folk from the evils of modernity

Abrahamism has brought European peoples, and the World as a whole, to the brink of annihilation.

Pagan Revivalism by contrast seeks to restore our people and world back to the way it once was.

Abrahamism is the disease
Pagan Revivalism is the cure
According to this mistaken post, "one of the oldest rune poems says, Odin = "war-chief" Jupiter." 😂

• The claim only appears once, in all skaldic poetry, in The Arnamagnæan Collection.

• This "oldest rune poem" is speculated to be from 1500, 500 years after conversion, 230 years after the Poetic Edda was written. Thus the claim of "oldest" made by the likes of pie perennialist Curwen Rolinson, is false and obscurantist.

• This collection was compiled and the claim of authenticity made by one Árni Magnússon in the 18th century, who bequeathed his collection to the University of Copenhagen after his death in 1730.

• The text shows foul-play by using improper Latin for the title of Jupiter, as noted by chad, trying to make it sound older than it is. Akin to Joseph Smith of Mormonism in the 19th century "translating" texts in 17th century Shakespearian english to fraudulently imply authority via antiquity.

“A lie can travel around the world and back again while the truth is lacing up its boots.” - Mark Twain
There is something to be said about sunrise, the golden amber and crimson hues that paint the sky at it's greeting. It gives us life, warmth and light. Everyday, without fail, it returns again from the darkness and cold of night.

On this channel we have talked about emulation being the highest form of veneration one can give. It shows how much we admire, that which we wish to copy in action.

So let us venerate the Sun by raising ourselves up each day. Let us give off light, warmth and have fulfilling life. Let us not be absent and reclusive, for does the Sun hide away for days on end? And lastly, let us move forward as the Sun moves across the sky.

ᚹ Wynn ᚹ

"They partake of this who know little of woes, pain and anxiety, and have for themselves prosperity and bliss, and also abundance of a fortified town."

The Rune Wynn is often associated with joy and bliss, to feel safe and secure without troubles.

Let us have joy and bliss this day and every day. Let us be secure in ourselves, our family and in the knowledge the Gods and Ancestors will watch over, guide and protect us from evils. And if evils come, to grant us the strength and confidence to overcome them. For being secure ensures bliss for that which we love; for that is the essence of Wynn, and what we strive onward towards.

Gods love you!

Factual v Allegorical interpretation

Part 1

Today we live in a culture dominated by post modernist literary theory, which states that if you didn't see it, or ask the author what they really meant, you can never know what they meant. Therefore you can read into it whatever meaning you want it to mean. It's a type of relativism which states, "you have your truth, I have my truth."

An example of ancient post modernist ideals can be found in Plato's Euthyphro, quote,
"Soc. And do you really believe that the gods, fought with one another, and had dire quarrels, battles, and the like, as the poets say, and as you may see represented in the works of great artists? The temples are full of them; and notably the robe of Athene, which is carried up to the Acropolis at the great Panathenaea, is embroidered with them. Are all these tales of the gods true, Euthyphro?

Euth. Yes, Socrates; and, as I was saying, I can tell you, if you would like to hear them, many other things about the gods which would quite amaze you."

Part 2

Are there symbolic meanings in the legends, sometimes yes. For example in Beowulf the voyage taken by sea says hran-râd meaning a whale-road. These give colors to the bland facts of the matter. But this isn't what is promoted by Allegoricalists, who say that everything should be regarded as allegorical.

This was done before in regards to the Trojan War. Plato had his doubts about the historicity. After all, he wasn't there & the implications of the legend, if real, would invalidate his whole philosophy. So he utilized a type of ancient post modernist critique to question the reality of the Trojan War; fictionalizing it, in Plato's mind & those that followed, the reality & historicity of the event. It was not until Heinrich Schliemann, who didn't view it as mere allegory, discovering Troy and evidence proving Homer's account to have been true & correct. The fact we make archeological discoveries based off of these legends should tell you they aren't just allegory.

Part 3

By saying the legends are allegory, the Allegoricalists are saying the legends, which is how we know who the Gods are, what they did and why they did it, are moving them from religious fact to religious fiction.

There are several problems that arise from this, unless the Allegoricalists take a quasi-atheistic style of understanding:

• When the Gods interact with & blessed mortals who gave sacrifice, is that just allegory?

• When the Gods interact with mortals in person, in disguise sometimes, is that just alligory?

• When the Gods have children with mortals producing Royal Lineages, Demigods & Heroes, which are found all throughout the legends & in all Pagan faiths, is that just allegory?

Sometimes people who take ancestral faith seriously get accused of being like christians; acting as if christians are the only ones who take their religious material seriously. The Gods do things irl, that's Paganism & how the average person in antiquity understood the faith

Was Paganism Exoteric or Esoteric?

Exoteric is defined as, "intended for or likely to be understood by the general public."

Esoteric is defined as, "intended for or likely to be understood by only a small number of people with a specialized knowledge or interest."

Using these definitions it becomes clear what historical Paganism was. There were public temples, public sacrifices & rituals. Does this mean, high priests wouldn't have had specialized knowledge, of course not. Just as an expert blacksmith would have specialized knowledge about his craft. But the idea they hid away knowledge for only a select few is patently false.

There were Esoteric cults in the Pagan past, such as the Pythagoreans with a cult leader, abstaining from blood sacrifices, having secret rules, hidden clubs and secret handshakes inspiring the likes of free-masonry. Pagan peoples were highly against these.

In 508 bc, Cylon of Croton led Pagans to burn their houses, killing many and driving the rest to exile like Pythagoras himself.

Some people wonder why Pagans and judeo-christians can't get along today. This explains things in their own words.

If one worships the enemy of our people, they serve the enemy of our people.
