Aus Mehl, Butter, Zucker, Salz und Ei einen Mürbeteig herstellen. Äpfel schälen und in Würfel schneiden. Den Apfelsaft aufkochen und die Äpfel darin 2 Min kochen lassen. Das Puddingpulver mit etwas Apfelsaft anrühren und unter die Äpfel geben. Einmal aufkochen lassen. Den Mürbeteig ausrollen, in die Springform geben und einen Rand formen Die Apfelmasse auf den Boden geben und für 1 Std auf 150⁰ in untersten Einschubleiste im vorgeheizten Backofen backen, herausnehmen, etwas abkühlen lassen, aus der Form lösen und abkühlen lassen. Dazu Sahne reichen oder den Kuchen mit Sahnetupfen verzieren. Statt Apfelsaft geht auch Apfelwein, da dann noch zusätzlich 2 EL Zucker, die im Wein aufgekocht werden zugeben.
