Санкт-Петербургский городской суд рассмотрел апелляционную жалобу на приговор Василеостровского районного суда г. Санкт-Петербурга в отношении Михаила Москвина (https://www.group-telegram.com/us/SPbGS.com/18745).
В апелляционной жалобе Москвин просил приговор районного суда смягчить и назначить ему наказание с применением ст.73 УК РФ, то есть условно с испытательным сроком.
Защита полагала, что Москвин, учитывая знания и опыт, больше пользы принесет на свободе. Дополнили, что уже будучи осужденным, Москвин честно дал показания по другому уголовному делу. Адвокаты также просили 73 УК РФ, либо снизить срок.
Прокурор полагал, что приговор законный и обоснованный.
Апелляционная инстанция оставила приговор Василеостровского районного суда г. Санкт-Петербурга без изменений.

These fraudulent schemes offer non-existent investment opportunities, promising very attractive and risk-free returns within a short span of time. They commonly offer unrealistic returns of as high as 1,000% within 24 hours or even within a few hours. But Kliuchnikov, the Ukranian now in France, said he will use Signal or WhatsApp for sensitive conversations, but questions around privacy on Telegram do not give him pause when it comes to sharing information about the war. This provided opportunity to their linked entities to offload their shares at higher prices and make significant profits at the cost of unsuspecting retail investors. What distinguishes the app from competitors is its use of what's known as channels: Public or private feeds of photos and videos that can be set up by one person or an organization. The channels have become popular with on-the-ground journalists, aid workers and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, who broadcasts on a Telegram channel. The channels can be followed by an unlimited number of people. Unlike Facebook, Twitter and other popular social networks, there is no advertising on Telegram and the flow of information is not driven by an algorithm.
