وزارت اطلاع‌رسانی سوریه در بیانیه‌ای اعلام کرد که جمهوری اسلامی با هدف جبران ناکامی‌های خود در این کشور، بقایای نیروهای وفادار به بشار اسد را برای ایجاد ناآرامی تحریک کرده است.
این اظهارات پس از آن مطرح شد که از روز پنج‌شنبه شانزدهم اسفند ۱۴۰۳، درگیری‌های نظامی در بخش‌هایی از سوریه شدت گرفت و به کشته شدن ۵۲۴ نفر منجر شد.
این اقدامات تلاشی نافرجام از سوی جمهوری اسلامی برای احیای نفوذ از دست‌رفته‌اش در منطقه بوده است. @Freedomessenger
