🔹۲۷ شهریور ماه، سالروز درگذشت استاد شهریار، با تصویب شورای عالی انقلاب فرهنگی روز شعر و ادب پارسی نام‌گذاری شده است. به همین مناسبت هرساله در کشورمان یاد بزرگان شعر و ادب پارسی گرامی داشته می‌شود.
