🇺🇸🇸🇦 There’s a new U.S. Army base called Logistical Support Area (LSA) Jenkins in Saudi Arabia that’s been expanding recently.
It’s on the Red Sea at 24.22619° N, 38.24876° E facing Egypt rather than Iran & hence its outside the range of Iranian SRBMs (unlike Prince Sultan Air Base, Al-Udied, or Al-Dhafra). Essentially the U.S. was anticipating a possible conflict with Iran & wanted to relocate U.S. military infrastructure away from their missiles & drones.
LSA Jenkins is planned to become a major logistics hub for US forces in the Middle East & will include munitions storages, living areas for troops & contractors, and maintenance facilities. There’s also a specialized section at the right that looks like it’ll be for U.S. Army MIM104s or THAADs & X-band AN/TPY-2 early warning radars.
LSA Jenkins really only appeared on satellite imagery a few years ago in 2022 & had consisted of a 1+ mile area with paved sections & what looked like a munitions storage facility (top left) so it was relatively easy to overlook.
LSA Jenkins is located right near Saudi Arabia’s Port Yanbu on the Red Sea, which itself has been used by the U.S. Navy to refuel & reload (pics below) for their ops against Yemen’s Houthis. They’re both outside the range of Iran’s SRBMs yet within their MRBMs as well as the missiles used by Yemen’s Houthis (not as much of a threat in my opinion).
📝: The U.S. "won" the war with Iran so hard they moved every valuable asset from the Al Udeid airbase in Qatar to Prince Sultan Airbase in Saudi Arabia and are building up new encampments on Saudi Arabia's Red Sea coast, as far away from the Persian Gulf and Iran as possible.

We are the sons of [the statement ] "Between the sword and humiliation, far be it from us to accept humiliation."
They ask us, "Are you capable of confronting the Israelis?" Yes, we are capable of confronting the Israelis. When we are given a choice, we have only one option. When our choice is dignity, it means we confront. They say, "If you confront, will you win?" Yes, we will win. "How will you win?" Meet us, come face us, and you’ll see how we win, God willing. Do you think we calculate it on paper like they do?
