В Воскресенске хотят снести Памятник воинам ЧВК «Вагнер» и бойцам погибшим в ходе выполнения задач в зоне СВО в микрорайоне Лопатинский.

Власти утверждают, что это незаконная постройка. Также они требуют доказать с документами в руках, что каждый из указанных бойцов действительно принимал участие в спецоперации на Украине. Скоро обещают приступить к демонтажу, в случае если добровольцы, установившие памятник не найдут другого места, желательно на частной территории, куда можно будет перенести мемориал.

Подробности я получу завтра, но в любом случае мы должны отстоять честь и память героев!

Channels like Donbass Insider and Bellum Acta, as reported by Foreign Policy, started pumping out pro-Russian propaganda as the invasion began. So much so that the Ukrainian National Security and Defense Council issued a statement labeling which accounts are Russian-backed. Ukrainian officials, in potential violation of the Geneva Convention, have shared imagery of dead and captured Russian soldiers on the platform. In the United States, Telegram's lower public profile has helped it mostly avoid high level scrutiny from Congress, but it has not gone unnoticed. The Security Service of Ukraine said in a tweet that it was able to effectively target Russian convoys near Kyiv because of messages sent to an official Telegram bot account called "STOP Russian War." Oleksandra Matviichuk, a Kyiv-based lawyer and head of the Center for Civil Liberties, called Durov’s position "very weak," and urged concrete improvements. Given the pro-privacy stance of the platform, it’s taken as a given that it’ll be used for a number of reasons, not all of them good. And Telegram has been attached to a fair few scandals related to terrorism, sexual exploitation and crime. Back in 2015, Vox described Telegram as “ISIS’ app of choice,” saying that the platform’s real use is the ability to use channels to distribute material to large groups at once. Telegram has acted to remove public channels affiliated with terrorism, but Pavel Durov reiterated that he had no business snooping on private conversations.
