Этнический талышский активист Мирхафиз Джафарзаде, выступавший за создание талышских школьных учебников в Азербайджане, был приговорен к 16 годам лишения свободы по обвинению в государственной измене.
Джафарзаде, который также является гражданином России, в четверг был признан виновным в государственной измене в форме шпионажа. Джафарзаде был задержан властями в ноябре 2022 года.
Джафарзаде был активным защитником талышского языка и выступал за создание талышских школьных учебников. В настоящее время в Азербайджане нет ни одной школы с обучением на талышском языке.

For some users, this may be good enough for now. For others, it may be wiser to move to a different platform for certain kinds of high-risk communications.
