Вслед за мужем, поэтом Владимиром Нешумовым, которого уволили с работы в Красноярск-26 за запрещенную литературу, она уехала в Старый Оскол.
Фестиваль «Оскольская Лира» (1989-2019), активно продвигавший акустический рок, назван в ее честь. В 1995-м гран-при на нем получил Веня Д’ркин.
