Как сообщили в республиканском МВД, 27 ноября, примерно в 17 часов 35 минут на пересечении улицы Пушкина и улицы Ленина города Элиста произошло дорожно-транспортное происшествие, связанное с наездом на пешехода. 66-летний водитель маршрутного автобуса, двигаясь по улице Пушкина допустил наезд на 64-летнего пешехода, в результате чего пешеход от полученных травм скончалась на месте происшествия.
В настоящее время на месте происшествия работает следственно-оперативная группа полиции, устанавливаются причины и обстоятельства произошедшего.

The message was not authentic, with the real Zelenskiy soon denying the claim on his official Telegram channel, but the incident highlighted a major problem: disinformation quickly spreads unchecked on the encrypted app. At its heart, Telegram is little more than a messaging app like WhatsApp or Signal. But it also offers open channels that enable a single user, or a group of users, to communicate with large numbers in a method similar to a Twitter account. This has proven to be both a blessing and a curse for Telegram and its users, since these channels can be used for both good and ill. Right now, as Wired reports, the app is a key way for Ukrainians to receive updates from the government during the invasion. "Someone posing as a Ukrainian citizen just joins the chat and starts spreading misinformation, or gathers data, like the location of shelters," Tsekhanovska said, noting how false messages have urged Ukrainians to turn off their phones at a specific time of night, citing cybersafety. At the start of 2018, the company attempted to launch an Initial Coin Offering (ICO) which would enable it to enable payments (and earn the cash that comes from doing so).
