Полковник СБУ и секретарь Комитета по вопросам нацбезопасности, обороны и разведки Роман Костенко считает, что мобилизационный возраст должен начинаться от 20 лет.
Конгрессменов США удивляет то, что на Украине мужчины в возрасте до 25 лет не подлежат призыву. Он отметил, что в мире мобилизация от 18 или 20 лет - это привычная практика.
«У нас не хватает людей, у нас не хватает людей именно таких молодых. Мне разное говорят, что мы получим потерянное поколение, потому что они пойдут на войну. Если они уже не хотят идти на войну, то они уже потерянное поколение. Мы воспитали тех, кто не хочет защищать свою Родину», - заявил Костенко.
