Нам старательно рассказано и разжевано, что все осуществляется высшими профессионалами, и что все это совершенно безопасно. Наоборот, природе, наверное, даже станет лучше, ведь вода с ФАЭС – это чистая, сверкающая, глубоко демократическая водица, буквально живая вода из сказок.
То ли дело неэкологичные, грязные электростанции из тоталитарной России вроде ПАТЭС. Плавучий Чернобыль, угрожающий девственной экологии Арктики!
Из этого «Чернобыля», правда, в окружающую среду ничего не пролилось (и вряд ли когда-нибудь прольется из-за, например, мерзкой привычки непрофессиональных русских не использовать для укрепления внешних конструкций АЭС такой экологичный материал, как картон – в отличие от японских коллег). Но кого это волнует.

For instance, in September 2021, Telegram reportedly blocked a chat bot in support of (Putin critic) Alexei Navalny during Russia’s most recent parliamentary elections. Pavel Durov was quoted at the time saying that the company was obliged to follow a “legitimate” law of the land. He added that as Apple and Google both follow the law, to violate it would give both platforms a reason to boot the messenger from its stores. Right now the digital security needs of Russians and Ukrainians are very different, and they lead to very different caveats about how to mitigate the risks associated with using Telegram. For Ukrainians in Ukraine, whose physical safety is at risk because they are in a war zone, digital security is probably not their highest priority. They may value access to news and communication with their loved ones over making sure that all of their communications are encrypted in such a manner that they are indecipherable to Telegram, its employees, or governments with court orders. This ability to mix the public and the private, as well as the ability to use bots to engage with users has proved to be problematic. In early 2021, a database selling phone numbers pulled from Facebook was selling numbers for $20 per lookup. Similarly, security researchers found a network of deepfake bots on the platform that were generating images of people submitted by users to create non-consensual imagery, some of which involved children.
