On the bronze age steppe, over 4,000 years ago, the people of the prehistoric Catacomb culture built a huge, mysterious structure atop a high ridge above a river, flowing south toward the Black Sea.
Archeologists have called this structure a temple, or a sanctuary but what was this place?
What rituals might it have been used for and what god might they have worshipped here? What can it tell us about the Catacomb culture and their religious beliefs and cultural practices? And are there any other sites like this?
I hope you enjoy my new video. As always, your shares are massively appreciated. Cheers!

Russian President Vladimir Putin launched Russia's invasion of Ukraine in the early-morning hours of February 24, targeting several key cities with military strikes. The Russian invasion of Ukraine has been a driving force in markets for the past few weeks. Stocks dropped on Friday afternoon, as gains made earlier in the day on hopes for diplomatic progress between Russia and Ukraine turned to losses. Technology stocks were hit particularly hard by higher bond yields. The fake Zelenskiy account reached 20,000 followers on Telegram before it was shut down, a remedial action that experts say is all too rare. Telegram, which does little policing of its content, has also became a hub for Russian propaganda and misinformation. Many pro-Kremlin channels have become popular, alongside accounts of journalists and other independent observers.
