В письме говорится:
"Уважаемый господин Президент,
Глубоко потрясены известием о многочисленных человеческих жертвах и разрушениях в результате сильного наводнения в штате Техас.
В связи с этой трагедией от своего имени и от имени народа Азербайджана с глубокой скорбью выражаю соболезнования Вам, семьям и близким погибших, всему американскому народу, желаю выздоровления пострадавшим".
