В регионе существует риск переполнения всех действующих полигонов в 2025 году. Чтобы этого избежать, запланировано строительство комплексного объекта «Центральный». Объект будет состоять из завода по обработке, утилизации и обезвреживанию отходов, а также высокотехнологичного полигона для размещения «хвостов».

Мощность обработки на «Центральном» составит 260 тыс тонн отходов в год, утилизации — 122 тыс тонн, размещения — 207 тыс тонн. Уже получено разрешение на строительство первой очереди. Объем инвестиций в проект составит 4,7 млрд рублей. Планируется финансирование через льготный заем РЭО.

Создание объекта поможет региону достичь показателей нацпроекта «Экологическое благополучие».

Ukrainian officials, in potential violation of the Geneva Convention, have shared imagery of dead and captured Russian soldiers on the platform.
