Если бы все государства ЕС тратили на оборону 3% от своего ВВП, то есть в относительных числах даже меньше, чем Латвия сегодня, мы вполне могли бы обойтись своими силами даже без Соединённых Штатов. Тем более, что, с учётом Франции, в ЕС есть всё вплоть до ядерного оружия включительно.
Но, как и десять лет назад, свою домашнюю работу выполняют лишь те, кто имеет все основания опасаться приграничных боёв в среднесрочной перспективе. Те же, кто рассчитывает, что "в случае чего" Путин увязнет в наших кишках, и до них не доедет, склонны бороться против РФ глубокой озабоченностью.
И - нет, это ни Трамп и ни Вэнс создали такой порядок вещей. Ни разу не они.
