Достоверно установлено, что направленные в Москву второй секретарь посольства Алкеш Одедра, 25.12.1990 года рождения, и Майкл Скиннер, 30.06.1992 года рождения, муж первого секретаря политического отдела посольства Табасум Рашид, при получении разрешения на въезд в нашу страну намеренно указали ложные данные, чем нарушили российское законодательство. Одновременно с этим ФСБ России выявлены признаки проведения указанными дипломатами разведывательно-подрывной работы, угрожающей безопасности Российской Федерации.
На указанном основании МИД России во взаимодействии с заинтересованными ведомствами принято решение о лишении Алкеша Одедры и Майкла Скиннера аккредитаций, им предписано покинуть Россию в двухнедельный срок.
