Массовый протест прошёл в Нууке перед американским консульством. Протест привлек внимание не только ведущих политиков Гренландии, многие местные жители выразили свой гнев из-за угрозы Трампа захватить Гренландию.

Гренландцы держали плакаты «Янки, возвращайтесь домой!», «Мы не продаёмся», «Нет, значит, нет» и с перечёркнутым стилизованным контуром острова с причёской Трампа, а также флаги Гренландии. Протестующие встретили овациями лозунг «Янки, идите домой!» и скандировали «Kalaallit Nunaat» (гренландское название острова).
