По мнению главы комиссии Валентины Терешковой, выражение не содержит оскорбительного подтекста и представляет собой просторечное высказывание, «иногда встречающееся в русском языке».
Ранее в интервью Ильтяков призвал женщин отказаться от абортов, заявив, что это противоречит воле бога и ведёт к греху, который наносит вред не только женщине, но и её роду. Его слова и тон высказываний вызвали критику со стороны депутатки фракции «Новые люди» Ксении Горячевой, которая обратилась в этическую комиссию.
