К вопросу о символах
Ключ жизни — один из самых известных сакральных символов культуры Древнего Египта, знак вечной жизни.
Будучи не так давно в Египте, в большом путешествии по Нилу, встречали этот знак повсюду! Прониклась смыслом этого знака и поняла как важно окружать себя позитивными символами, любимыми и радующими глаз предметами.
А символизирует он бессмертие, мудрость, силу, служит защитным талисманом.
Желаю всем нам успешной трудовой недели после длинных празднично-выходных дней, вдохновения и удовлетворённости получаемыми результатами!
И да, этот знак на папирусе теперь у нас дома…

At Strauss & Co’s modern and contemporary art auction in Johannesburg, Lady from the Orient by Vladimir Tretchikov just sold for a jaw-dropping R31.1 million, setting a new national record for the artist.
👨🎨 But who was Vladimir Tretchikov and why are his paintings breaking records at auctions?
Born in Russia and passed away in Cape Town, Tretchikov was South Africa’s most celebrated painter in the 1950s and '60s. Known as “The People's Painter,” his art defied the critics and won the hearts of millions.
Over his lifetime, Tretchikov held 52 exhibitions across Europe, Asia, America, and Africa. Despite creating during the postmodern era (some art historians see him as a precursor to Andy Warhol), Tretchikov’s roots were firmly in the Russian realist tradition. His painting style evokes echoes of Nicholas Roerich’s mysticism and the fairytale charm of Ivan Bilibin.
🎨 Tretchikov was the painter of the people. One of his most iconic works, The Chinese Girl (also known as The Green Lady), features a laundress named Monika Sing-Lee. The portrait became a global sensation – reproduced and sold around the world – while the model herself remained unaware of her fame.

История Кофи началась в г. Кумаси, где прошлое и будущее столкнулись с улицами наследия и технологическими стартапами. Отец был традиционным Ашанти-ремесленником, мастер символики, глубокой, как корни гигантских баобабов. Мама была профессором компьютерной науки. Кофи вырос в мире культурных символов и компьютерных экранов, научившись создавать коды и свой язык. В нем сердцебиение древних барабанов нашли гармонию с щелчками клавиатуры. Он был естественным, пальцы легко перемещались через голографические интерфейсы, фиксируя коды заклинаний и символов adinkra, Кофи - это выражение культуры и ее эволюции.

Kofi's story began in the bustling city of Kumasi, where the past and future collided in the streets lined with heritage sites and tech startups. From a young age, Kofi's life was a dance to the rhythm of dichotomies. His father was a traditional Ashanti craftsman, a master of the adinkra symbols whose meanings were as deep as the roots of the giant baobab trees. His mother, on the other hand, was a professor of computer science, her life dedicated to algorithms and artificial intelligence.
Kofi grew up straddling these worlds, his days spent in the workshop learning the curves and lines of cultural symbols, his evenings consumed by the glow of computer screens as he learned to code. He spoke the language of his ancestors with the same fluency with which he wrote Python scripts. In him, the heartbeat of ancient drums found harmony with the clicks of keyboards.
