شاعری جهاندیده و دمخور با فلسفه و منطق، از هم دوره‌ای‌های هوشنگ گلشیری، دکتر ضیاء موحد. به اصرار گلشیری بود که اشعارش را به چاپ رسانید. در حلقه ادبی جُنگ اصفهان همکار بزرگانی چون ابوالحسن نجفی، احمد میرعلایی، محمد حقوقی و احمد گلشیری بود. شاعری که آوازه آثار فلسفی‌اش از دفترهای شعرش جلوتر زده اند. «درآمدی بر منطق جدید» و «منطق موجهات» هر دو برنده کتاب سال شدند. البته در این میان مجموعه شعر «مشتی نور سرد» هم توانست در ردیف با کتاب‌های قبل برنده این جایزه شود. از دیگر آثار ادبی او می‌توان به «و جهان آبستن زاده شود»، «نردبان اندر بیابان» و مجموعه مقاله های «شعر و شناخت» هم اشاره کرد.
