ЮАР наращивает мощности в солнечной генерации

☀️ В 2025 году в ЮАР будет построено, по меньшей мере, три солнечные электростанции (СЭС) общей мощностью 340 МВт.

📌 Первый проект (на 120 МВт) будет предназначен для нужд Teraco Data Centres, крупнейшего оператора дата-центров в Африке.

📌 Вторая СЭС (на 120 МВт) будет обеспечивать мощности химических компаний Sasol и Air Liquide.

📌 Третья СЭС (на 100 МВт) будет питать завод по производству феррохрома, который используется для легирования стали и сплавов.

📈 По данным Международного агентства по ВИЭ (IRENA), установленная мощность солнечных панелей в ЮАР выросла в пять раз в период с 2014 по 2023 гг. (c 1,1 ГВт до 5,7 ГВт).

👉 Доля солнечной генерации в ЮАР за тот же период выросла с 0,4% до 6,7% соответственно.
