Этообъемная фотокнига о радиоактивных грибах 🍄 Такаси Хомма собирал грибы в Скандинавии, Фукусиме, Чернобыле и Стоуни-Пойнт и фотографировал их на белом фоне. Иногда встречаются фотографии самих лесов и людей, охраняющих эти зоны.
Также из изданий очень впечатлило меня — ‘Halfstory Halflife’ Raymond Meeks. Мне импонирует творчество Микса, поэтому не удивительно, что его книга мне понравилась. В ‘Halfstory Halflife’ Микс наблюдает за молодежью, которая в летний сезон собирается у моста с водопадом и совершает полные свободы полета прыжки в воду. Книга вводит в некое гипнотическое состояние при просмотре за счет ощущения движения, гравитации, телесности и деталей неопрятной природной местности.
Среди просмотренного ещё несколько книг Takashi Homma, таинственные пейзажив книге ‘Sequester’ Awoiska van der Molen, лепорелло ‘Opening’ Jungin Lee и другие.

The company maintains that it cannot act against individual or group chats, which are “private amongst their participants,” but it will respond to requests in relation to sticker sets, channels and bots which are publicly available. During the invasion of Ukraine, Pavel Durov has wrestled with this issue a lot more prominently than he has before. Channels like Donbass Insider and Bellum Acta, as reported by Foreign Policy, started pumping out pro-Russian propaganda as the invasion began. So much so that the Ukrainian National Security and Defense Council issued a statement labeling which accounts are Russian-backed. Ukrainian officials, in potential violation of the Geneva Convention, have shared imagery of dead and captured Russian soldiers on the platform. At its heart, Telegram is little more than a messaging app like WhatsApp or Signal. But it also offers open channels that enable a single user, or a group of users, to communicate with large numbers in a method similar to a Twitter account. This has proven to be both a blessing and a curse for Telegram and its users, since these channels can be used for both good and ill. Right now, as Wired reports, the app is a key way for Ukrainians to receive updates from the government during the invasion. One thing that Telegram now offers to all users is the ability to “disappear” messages or set remote deletion deadlines. That enables users to have much more control over how long people can access what you’re sending them. Given that Russian law enforcement officials are reportedly (via Insider) stopping people in the street and demanding to read their text messages, this could be vital to protect individuals from reprisals. Messages are not fully encrypted by default. That means the company could, in theory, access the content of the messages, or be forced to hand over the data at the request of a government. As the war in Ukraine rages, the messaging app Telegram has emerged as the go-to place for unfiltered live war updates for both Ukrainian refugees and increasingly isolated Russians alike.
