Моонзундская десантная операция, проведенная войсками Ленинградского фронта (командующий – Маршал Советского Союза Л.А. Говоров) и силами Краснознаменного Балтийского флота (командующий – адмирал В.Ф. Трибуц) по освобождению Моонзундского архипелага, стала критически важным этапом в ходе Великой Отечественной войны, открывшим путь к освобождению Прибалтики от немецко-фашистских захватчиков. Эта операция продемонстрировала тактическое мастерство и военное мужество советских солдат и офицеров, а также значимость морской и воздушной поддержки в ходе боевых действий.
