“HIFI” callsigns are historically linked to refueling missions for B-52, B-1, and B-2 strategic bombers.

These tankers could be pre-positioning to Australia or the Pacific—possibly ahead of a bomber deployment to Diego Garcia, ~2,000 miles from Iran.
