Отмечается, что за 2023 год потребление электроэнергии майнерами в СФО выросло на 70%, а к настоящему времени текущая потребляемая мощность центров обработки данных, а также заявки майнинговых компаний на покупку электроэнергии суммарно превышают мощность самой крупной в России Саяно-Шушенской ГЭС.
