В ночь с 31 декабря на 1 января в одном из домов в селе Маклино Малоярославецкого района в ходе распития алкоголя произошла ссора между 36-летним пасынком и его 53-летним отчимом. В результате конфликта первый нанес второму удар ножом. Потерпевший скончался на месте.
36-летнего мужчину задержали. Заведено уголовное дело по статье об умышленном причинении тяжкого вреда здоровью, повлекшее по неосторожности смерть.
