The War on Fakes channel has repeatedly attempted to push conspiracies that footage from Ukraine is somehow being falsified. One post on the channel from February 24 claimed without evidence that a widely viewed photo of a Ukrainian woman injured in an airstrike in the city of Chuhuiv was doctored and that the woman was seen in a different photo days later without injuries. The post, which has over 600,000 views, also baselessly claimed that the woman's blood was actually makeup or grape juice. Stocks closed in the red Friday as investors weighed upbeat remarks from Russian President Vladimir Putin about diplomatic discussions with Ukraine against a weaker-than-expected print on U.S. consumer sentiment. And while money initially moved into stocks in the morning, capital moved out of safe-haven assets. The price of the 10-year Treasury note fell Friday, sending its yield up to 2% from a March closing low of 1.73%. At this point, however, Durov had already been working on Telegram with his brother, and further planned a mobile-first social network with an explicit focus on anti-censorship. DFR Lab sent the image through Microsoft Azure's Face Verification program and found that it was "highly unlikely" that the person in the second photo was the same as the first woman. The fact-checker Logically AI also found the claim to be false. The woman, Olena Kurilo, was also captured in a video after the airstrike and shown to have the injuries.

十八。連動 Un1t8十八。連動是十八區志同道合的年輕人組成，以往一直以無名身份默默舉辦各區各種大小活動。我們各區一起制作了十八塊連儂布，並於2019年10月20日九龍大遊行和2019年11月2日在愛丁堡人權民主法案集會展示。其後，我們亦再製作一塊屬於香港人的簽名連儂布並在2019年12月29日舉辦了香港人抗爭的日與夜集會，希望回顧過往六個月的抗爭之路。而「十八。連動 」目的是希望連結十八區的人一起為香港出一分力，不再沉默。
