Софья Орлова (бакалавриат, 3 курс) и Денис Ансонов (магистратура, 1 курс) победили в Doha Arabic Language Prize и выиграли годовую оплачиваемую стажировку в Катарском университете.

В финал так же вышли Лейла Гребенюк (бакалавриат, 3 курс), Кайя Зейналова(бакалавриат, 3 курс) и Ярослав Рябчевский (бакалавриат, 4 курс).

Предварительный этап проходил онлайн (до 8 января), а заключительный состоялся 29 января (а мы ~~почти~~ все отдыхали 😉)

Поздравляем финалистов, желаем успеха и призываем всех студентов-арабистов участвовать в конкурсе

The Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi) had carried out a similar exercise in 2017 in a matter related to circulation of messages through WhatsApp. Perpetrators of these scams will create a public group on Telegram to promote these investment packages that are usually accompanied by fake testimonies and sometimes advertised as being Shariah-compliant. Interested investors will be asked to directly message the representatives to begin investing in the various investment packages offered. Official government accounts have also spread fake fact checks. An official Twitter account for the Russia diplomatic mission in Geneva shared a fake debunking video claiming without evidence that "Western and Ukrainian media are creating thousands of fake news on Russia every day." The video, which has amassed almost 30,000 views, offered a "how-to" spot misinformation. "We're seeing really dramatic moves, and it's all really tied to Ukraine right now, and in a secondary way, in terms of interest rates," Octavio Marenzi, CEO of Opimas, told Yahoo Finance Live on Thursday. "This war in Ukraine is going to give the Fed the ammunition, the cover that it needs, to not raise interest rates too quickly. And I think Jay Powell is a very tepid sort of inflation fighter and he's not going to do as much as he needs to do to get that under control. And this seems like an excuse to kick the can further down the road still and not do too much too soon." In addition, Telegram now supports the use of third-party streaming tools like OBS Studio and XSplit to broadcast live video, allowing users to add overlays and multi-screen layouts for a more professional look.
