Поэтому мы решили, что, если вопросами экологии займётся всемирно известный человек, это привлечёт внимание общества и властей к инициативам нашей партии и поможет защитить природу России. Вопросами экологии он занимается уже много лет, эта тема отражена в ряде его фильмов», — пояснил он.
Миронов добавил, что в партии рассчитывают в ходе предстоящих выборов на поддержку всех поклонников актёра, но хотят «привлечь на свою сторону экоактивистов и людей, неравнодушных к природе».
