Воссозданы биографии 500 участников «Дикой дивизии»

В Республиканской юношеской библиотеке имени К. Мечиева состоялась встреча представителей общественности и учащихся средней школы № 6 с видным российским писателем-историком, журналистом, известным исследователем-архивистом Кабардино-Балкарии Олегом Леонидовичем Опрышко.
Встреча стала поводом для презентации новой книги писателя, только что вышедшей в издательстве Марии и Виктора Котляровых - «Сражались за Россию: кабардинцы и балкарцы в составе Кабардинского конного полка 1914-1917». В ней воссозданы биографии и судьбы 500 кабардинцев и балкарцев, отмеченных Георгиевским крестом и медалью «За храбрость», в год 110-летия с начала формирования Кавказской туземной конной дивизии, более известной как «Дикая дивизия», её участники символично возвращаются на родину.
